Debbie Huttner

Founder, Pearl Wealth

Debbie is the founder and President of Pearl Wealth. A dedicated advisor, she is passionate about supporting her individual, family and foundation clients in achieving their goals through thoughtful financial planning and investment strategies. Those goals may include retirement, legacy planning and/or using their wealth to make a positive social and environmental impact on the broader world.

Prior to starting Pearl Wealth, Debbie served as a financial advisor and the impact specialist at Colorado Capital Management, a Boulder-based advisory firm. She has also held a variety of high-level positions in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. As Vice President at Time Warner, she oversaw corporate development and investments for CNN Interactive. Prior to that, she served as Director of Business Development for RCN, where she structured over $100 million in telecom mergers and acquisitions.

After leaving Time Warner, Debbie founded The Wellness Initiative (TWI), a non-profit that improved the physical health, social and emotional development, and academic performance of low-income youth through yoga-based wellness programs. The organization served tens of thousands of students and teachers throughout its 9-year lifespan. It was funded by a wide range of foundations, individuals and corporate donors prior to its 2015 merger into the PassageWorks Institute.

Debbie decided to move from New York City to Colorado after 9/11. That day had a profound impact on her life and motivated her to commit to making a positive difference in the world with her time and talents. She finds her work as a trusted advisor and impact specialist to be an ideal vehicle by which to make a positive difference in the lives of her clients and broader world.

Debbie is a graduate of Brown University (BA cum laude) and NYU School of Law and Stern School of Business (JD/MBA). She holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification from the College for Financial Planning. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor in University of Colorado's Masters of the Environment Program. When not serving clients or teaching, Debbie enjoys spending time with family and friends, appreciating the incredible mountains surrounding Boulder and relaxing!
